Las Vegas: Escape the madness of reality. Visit Las Vegas

Las Vegas Nevada. South of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, East of California and West of the Grand Canyon.

If you haven’t been there yet, you need to add it to your “to do” list.

Plumb in the middle of the desert, this “oasis of fun” is a fantastic place to visit.

You can make your fortune (so they tell us) or “live it up” in some of the most “bizarre” scenery in the world.

It’s all here, see a 30 story black glass pyramid in the desert, visit “New York” in downtown Las Vegas.

Or take a trip to Europe’s “Monte Carlo”, American style. Maybe Italian’s your style? or your heritage?

See the “Palazzo” and enjoy the polished stone and gelato. Or if you’re feeling exotic, take a walk down the road to “Sin City”!

And when you look, up you’ll find “the Stratosphere”. An 1100 foot high landmark.

Whether you are celebrating a wedding, wanting to lower your golf score, need a burst of excitement, want to refill you “fun” tank, or plain “want to escape from reality”, this is the place to go.

With all the doom in the world, this is the place to turn off the TV and the radio, forget the newspapers and enjoy the most beautiful buildings in the world.

Sure it’s a bit “flashy” but “what the hell” you only live once and you owe it to yourself and your lover to have a good time every now and then.

Take in a dozen shows; spin a dollar or a hundred on the gambling tables of a bunch of the world’s top casinos.

Who knows, you could make a million! Partying is the attitude in this town and you will find everyone wants to be your friend.

The staff and owners in this establishment, are there to see you have a good time.

Watch your budget though. It’s easy to do your dough real quick and then the funs all over. Speaking of watching your cash, if you want good value and easy to get at accommodation, look at the vacation rentals, hotels and homes for rent.

They will give you a stylish place to stay and maximize your fun dollars.

Look around, enjoy the food, enjoy the entertainment, keep yourself healthy and enjoy the pleasure of this escape from the mad mad world.

The Grand Canyon’s is accesible if it’s on your bucket list. Also be sure to check out the Skywalk.

Always wanted to drive a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche or Audi?

Drop by the racetrack. You can hire the car of your dreams and flash it around the track a few times. Something never to be forgotten.

Try riding a zip line. Travel suspended up to a 1000ft above the desert floor.

A unique aerial trail ride designed to educate and amaze.

Learn what it feels like to soar like an eagle. Exhilaration is an understatement!

There’s a heap to see and do here. You will be challenged to prioritize.

So a bit of research before you go is a great idea. Visit the Atomic Testing Museum, the stunning Auto Collection at the Imperial Palace, tempt your taste buds on the Ethel M Chocolate Factory Tour, or look at the history of the area, at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum.

Step back in time by visiting the genuine remains of the “Titanic” ocean liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean.

Or for something totally bizarre, see the whole-body specimens, 260 organs and partial body specimens shown at the “Bodies” exhibition.

It’s a hard place to leave and a place you will want to return to again, soon.

Remember to try out those, vacation rentals, hotels and special offers for rental homes, on Troll Traveler before you go.

Saving a bit on the accommodation gives you more “play” money!
